On May 4th The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles celebrated Jewish Heritage month with a Special Council Presentation with remarks by city officials, a performance by Ellis Island Band’s KlezMexKo, a reception with classic Jewish fare, and docent-led tours of the exhibit Jews of Los Angeles: A Sense of Home, A Sense of Place..
