Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation—Los Angeles is excited to offer a free guided tour of the special exhibition at The Broad Museum, Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963-1983 on Tuesday, August 27th at 1:00 pm. This exhibit shines a bright light on the vital contribution of Black artists, beginning at the height of the civil rights movement. In addition, Los Angeles-based artists appear throughout Soul of a Nation, foregrounding the significant role of our city in the art and history of the civil rights movement.
